The Contrast

There have been a few changes to the site over the last week or two. I noticed that the gallery was not playing quite as it should so the photo gallery (at least for the time being) is external to the site. There are a few more pictures on there than in the old gallery and expect updates quite soon. Another change is the audio player on the Audio page now allows you to purchase individual tracks from any one of the five albums from The Contrast. Cool eh? Thanks to the guys at Redeye for that. I also notice that The Contrast are picking up quite a lot of weekly plays on www.last.fm.

The compilation album that the guys are currently working on for Wicked Cool records is shaping up nicely it seems. It is said that there are previously unreleased tracks as well as two specially recorded acoustic versions of a couple of classics. The cover is apparently quite different from what you might expect from a Contrast release and features a film-noir theme. Of course until the whole package is confirmed everything could still change so I will take this all with a pinch of salt until I actually see it myself.

Also yet to be confirmed, but looking likely, is that The Contrast are on the bill of the annual CMJ Music Marathon in New York City. As this is only a few weeks away expect a confirmation soon
